Lu’s background spans more than a decade in enterprise technology management, IT consulting, systems engineering, and asset management. He studied at the University of Alberta.

He brought that experience into IT Custom Solution, a multi-practice technology firm serving government and commercial buyers. The company was formally organized on April 19, 2021.

His work connects procurement, technology delivery, responsible automation, strategic teaming, talent, and focused software products.

The perspective

Across the existing writing and speaking topics, a few questions recur: how does a small firm learn to work with institutional buyers? What does a certification actually open? Where can software remove repetition, and where must judgment stay human?

Across his work, the operating standard is straightforward: understand the requirement, make a bounded promise, preserve the evidence, and deliver in a way the buyer can verify.
